CAMPOSOL GOLF COURSE

Right on your door step is Camposol Golf Course ( the hotel next to the clubhouse is opened in 2008 and is called Sensol, the golf course from then is known as the Sensol Golf Complex, but locals still call it Camposol!). In 2006 the course went from being 9 holes to 18 and the back 9 now make it a very challenging course. Water comes into play on numerous holes and the wind can be a factor especially with afternoon tee times. The view from the course are stunning and the clubhouse facilities are excellent, there is a driving range, putting green and small chipping area. Clubs can be hired if necessary and at 50 euros for 18 holes it is a good course to play prior to Condado, Hacienda and Valle Del Este.


CONDADO DEL ALHAMA

The newest course to the region is the new Polaris world course at Condado, this is only 10 minutes drive away from the Villas and well woth a visit. Not only has it a Championship course but also extensive practice facilities. The complex is gated so you either have to phone to pre book golf or at the security desk explain you are going for golf. There is a small shop and changing rooms in the shopping centre ( no club house at present) to the left of the security gates. HACIENDA DEL ALAMO

Only 15 minutes drive away is the Hacienda Golf resort, the touring pro for this course is Miguel Angel Jimenez and a Ryder Cup player wouldn’t put his name to any course. In excess of 6300 meters off the yellow tees a buggy is recommended as there are long walks between some of the tees. The new clubhouse is stunning, very grand and facilities at present include Restaurant,Bar, cafeteria, pro shop, driving range,putting green and chipping area plus a 6 hole par 3 course. VALLE DEL ESTE

Although a 45 minute drive Valle Del Este is a course you will be wanting to play again and again. A beautiful hotel looks over a 18 hole course where no shot is easy. Water, ravines and blind shots make this a good test for all standards. Not only are there excellent facilities for golfers in driving range, putting green and chipping area. If you wish to take your partner whilst you play golf they are allowed to use the huge swimming pool ( plus small pool for children with play area) free of charge. AGUILON

Having opened in 2008 this course has already proved to one of the hottest newcomers amongst all the courses in Spain. This Par 70 course has the Aguilón Mountains as its back drop with breathtaking views of Pulpí Bay and the overall design is spectacular incorporating more than 100 bunkers, 6 lakes and a number of natural ravines making it a challenging but unforgettable playing experience for players of all levels.
